Tim Roth

EVP, Strategy & Business Development
& Chief Sustainability Officer

Tim Roth is BBB’s executive vice president of strategy and business development and chief sustainability officer, reporting to CEO Duncan Gillis.

 

Tim is responsible for BBB’s global strategy and business development. Tim has initiated and grown circular economy business practices in 3 industries with public and private companies. In addition, he has broad business experience in leading manufacturing businesses in consumer products, capital goods and automotive parts.

 

Tim has served as a board member and chairman of the Automotive Parts Remanufacturing Association, supporting circular economy businesses in North America, Europe and Asia. In addition, he has contributed to the advancement of Circular Economy practices with global work on standardization and quantification of the benefits of remanufacturing as one of the best ways to positively impact a company's economic, social, and environmental contributions in a community.

Throughout his career, Tim has focused on material conservation and reuse as an economic and environmental objective that has evolved in recent years into the circular economy approach to manufacturing commercial goods.

 

Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science & Technology and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.

 

Tim enjoys many outdoor activities, reading, cars and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Tim and his wife Margarita reside in Daphne, Alabama and are active with youth, single mother and Veteran group organizations to provide opportunity and support.
