Chief Financial Officer
Tim Garner is BBB’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, reporting to CEO Duncan Gillis.
As CFO, Tim oversees accounting, business/M&A support, financial planning and analysis, treasury, audit and tax functions. Tim joined BBB in 2020.
Tim has over 35 years of experience building and leading finance teams in global companies with significant operating scale and complexity. Prior to joining BBB, Tim was CFO at IXS Holdings, Inc. and previously at Big 10 Tires & Service Centers. He has 14 years of experience as CFO in private equity portfolio companies.
He began his career with Price Waterhouse and spent four years in audit. From there, he moved to large international UK, US and Japanese public companies where he held various positions including controller, finance director, treasurer, VP – finance and ultimately SBU CFO. In his tenure as CFO, he has had direct management responsibility for various operations areas, including Information Technology, Human Resources, Warehousing and Logistics, Purchasing and Procurement, Legal and Sales Administration.
Tim graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Professional Accountancy.
A product of the Alabama Gulf Coast, Tim resides in Orange Beach, Alabama and enjoys water-related activities, including island travels. In addition, he is passionate about his family, faith-based initiatives, golf and home-related projects.
