TURBOCHARGER IDENTIFICATION
Turbochargers have a data tag or ID plate, usually located in one of three places:
- The cold side, also known as the compressor housing.
- Around the bearing housing area, which is the center section.
- Under the compressor housing on the seal plate
Once the tag is found write down any information you may find or take a picture. Your engine serial number and data id information are critical for finding the correct replacement.
