Matt Brynildson
Chief People Officer & EVP
Matt Brynildson is BBB’s chief people officer and executive vice president, reporting to CEO, Duncan Gillis.
As the leader of BBB’s global human resources teams, Matt supports their work to enable the Company’s strong growth and customer focus with effective and efficient talent management, total rewards, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, professional development, and safety processes, programs and systems.
Matt joined BBB in 2015, after over 20 years of international HR leadership roles with PACCAR, Meritor, Coca-Cola and Chevron.
He began his career as an HR consultant and project manager with Hewitt Associates.
Matt earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from the University of Michigan, both with honors, and an MLIR from Michigan State University. He has also earned SPHR, CCP and CEBS professional certifications.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys reading, restoring his vintage Land Rover, and exploring the Gulf Coast beaches with his family and rescue dog (Maisie).
