BBB Industries LLC - Company History

BBB Industries is a privately-held company specializing in the production of new and remanufactured automotive alternators and starters. Founded in 1987, the Company commenced operations as a regional remanufacturer and distributor located in Mobile Alabama. The Company initially concentrated on the remanufacturing of foreign starters and alternators. Recognizing the Company’s long-term objective of becoming the premier remanufacturing supplier in the rotating electrical sector, management strategically shifted its manufacturing operation to Reynosa Mexico in 1998. The corporate office remains in Mobile, Alabama and is complemented by warehouse locations in Alabama, California and Tennessee. In order to effectively support the company's diversified customer base, the company also operates sales offices in Alabama, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Illinois and California.

The Company’s long term strategy is to capitalize on the reduced labor costs and savings associated with manufacturing in Mexico. These savings have allowed BBB Industries to make significant quality improvements to our products while maintaining a competitive price. Our continual commitment to high quality and the pride we take in building our products is clearly evidenced by our ISO/TS 16949 certification, the highest quality management system obtainable.

BBB Industries’ long term business plan has included and will continue to include an element recognizing the opportunity to grow the company through the acquisition of select well-positioned competitors. Recent acquisitions include Ampere Automotive, Pacific Alternator and Starter, Orange County Alternator and most recently, Garner Automotive Products. These acquisitions have played a critical role in our achievement of becoming one of the largest remanufactures in the world. In order to best position our company for continued expansion, management recently formed a partnership with a well respected investment firm with a proven track record. This partnership provides our company with access to significant capital, further strengthening our ability to aggressively grow and expand our business.

The BBB Industries product line has grown to now include new alternators and starters, remanufactured alternators and starters and heavy duty alternators and starters. All of our products are available in warehouses located in Reynosa Mexico, Mobile, Alabama, Nashville, Tennessee, and Mira Loma, California.

Finally, our management team has set what it believes to be a very achievable goal in growing our business to reach our ultimate objective of becoming the premium supplier to the rotating electrical sector. We believe we are well positioned to achieve this goal.
